The Mansfield School is currently undergoing renovation by the Mansfield Independent School District for use as an administration building.

2000 - Memorial Hall

The Memorial Hall was built in 1919 at the corner of Water (Main) and Broad Streets. The Hall was built as a tribute to the veterans of World War I. It was torn down in 1956 to make way for Mansfield City Hall. The City Hall is now the Mansfield Police Department Station House. The Memorial Hall was designed and built by Ward Bratton, a prominent Mansfield pioneer, and featured a hexagon shape, unusual in its day. Lumber from the Male and Female College, which was closed in 1909 was used to build the Hall. Although no longer in existence, we offer this Memorial Hall ornament as a tribute to the Mansfield Community of 1919 for their vision and respect in honoring all who have served this country.

2001- Farr Best Theatre

Opened on October 10, 1917, Farr Best was operated by the Farr family for 58 years. It was sold in 1975 and from then to present, the building has had three owners. It has been: the Bijou Theatre, home of St. John's Lutheran Church, and is currently owned by Main Street Theatre, which produces live theatrical programs. On September 13, 1996, the building was once again named Farr Best Theatre and declared a historic site. The theatre proudly stands in the heart of downtown Mansfield, Texas, and is a tribute to its founder, M.M. Farr and family.
