The History of Mansfield Texas Mid 1800-1965
This award winning hardbound book, compiled in 1996, contains the history of Mansfield and over 400 pages of historic data, biographies, family history and photos. Published by the Mansfield Historical Society as a community project, the volume is the most complete history ever compiled on the City of Mansfield and surrounding communities.

A Taste of Old Mansfield
A compilation of over 400 home-style recipes, this collection was published by the Mansfield Historical Society in 2000 through contributions from our members of their family traditions. Members of the Nicola Marschall 757 Chapter of Children of the Confederacy contributed their southern tradition recipes for this book and included some of the best southern pies. The 300 page publication contains historical photos and information on Mansfield's history. This book is a must-have for cookbook collectors or anyone needing to make lye soap or pluck a chicken!

Mansfield - A Tarrant County Historic Resources Survey
This compilation sponsored by the Historic Preservation Council for Tarrant County contains principal findings and resource characteristics for the City of Mansfield and surrounding communities. This 70 page publication includes photographic documentation and historical data of each property. The resource survey, completed in 1990 is a comprehensive view of all the historical assets of the Mansfield community. The publication is in its second printing.
