Mansfiled Historical Society in Texas preserves and displays the historical archives of the North Texas town of Mansfield. Mansfiled in located in Tarrant County, near Fort Worth in zip code 76063.
The Historical Society was formed in 1970 with the express purpose of collecting, investigating and preserving the richness of our southern heritage, genealogical, biographical and historical data about the Mansfield community and its residents. We maintain some wonderful displays at the Mansfield Historical Museum and Heritage Center relating to this history. Among these are Maps, photos and artifacts abound.
Come experience the displays. We regularly change many of the displays so it is likely that you will always see something new. Additionally, we have an extensive selection of books and memorabilia for sale.
The Mansfield Historical Society invites you to schedule a museum tour for your group. Dates and times can be arranged by contacting our office or by email. Student tours over 20 students need to be arranged four weeks in advance to allow us to have additional volunteers on staff.
