Tye Cemetery

The Tye, or Oak Grove Cemetery, is located approximately 2 1/2 miles south of 1187 on Oak Grove Road. The land for the cemetery was given by the Tye family. The cemetery was 100 years old October, 1974. The first burial was that of George H. Tye, born November 19, 1872 and died October 22, 1874. He was the son of Jim Tye. Several of the Maxwell family of Rendon are also buried here.
